SATURDAY, AUGUST 19, 2023
Midway opens at 1:00 PM
Special – $25.00 armband lets you ride from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Individual ride tickets will be available for purchase
- 7:00 pm – Micro Wrestling (Grandstand, $15)
MONDAY, AUGUST 21 – ENTRY DAY
MIDWAY CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY
Haul-in Day – everything but DRAFT and LIGHT horses (they may if they wish)
- 8:00 am-12:00 pm – Weigh In
- By 5:00 pm – Youth Exhibit Building Check-in
- 5:30 pm – Harness Horse Races (Grandstand, free admission)
- By 7:00 pm – Adult Exhibit Check-in
TUESDAY, AUGUST 22
Midway opens at 5:00 PM
Special – $15.00 armband will let you ride from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
*Individual ride tickets will be available.
- 8:00 am – Swine Showmanship, Breeding & 4-H Classes (Hog/Lamb/Goat Barn, Small Indoor Arena)
- 9:00 am- 3:00 pm – Youth & Educational Building Judging (4H/Youth & Educational Buildings closed until 3 pm)
- 4:00 pm – Sheep Showmanship, Breeding & 4-H Market Classes (Hog/Lamb/Goat Barn, Small Indoor Arena)
- 5:30 pm – Harness Horse Racing (Grandstand, free admission)
- 7:00 pm – Tuesday Night Grandstand (TBA)
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23
SENIOR CITIZEN DAY – Over 60 admitted FREE until 6:00 PM
Midway opens at 2:00 PM
Special – $20.00 armband will let you ride from 2:00 PM until 11:00 PM.

- 8:30 am – Beef Showmanship, Breed & 4-H Market Classes (Large Arena)
- 9:00 am – Poultry Showmanship (Rabbit & Poultry Barn)
- ~12:00 pm – Draft Horse Halter/Ponies, Mules & Cross Classes (Large Arena, after Beef Judging)
- 5:30 pm – Mini Horse Driving Classes (Infield Arena)
- 5:30 pm – Draft Horses Driving Classes (Infield Arena)
THURSDAY, AUGUST 24
SPECIAL – 11:30-1:00 pm – accommodations for those with disabilities will be provided, including free gate and free rides

- 6:45 pm – Presentation of Oceana 4-H Ambassadors (Grandstand, free admission)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 25

FINAL DAY OF FAIR

- 10:00 am – Grand Slam Showmanship (Beginning in Rabbit/Poultry Barn & working up to larger animals in Large Arena)
- 10:00 am – Horse Games (Infield Arena)
- 10:00 am – Garden Tractor Pull (Grandstand, free admission) – sponsored by Western Michigan Old Engine Club
- Transfer Sled Only
- Stock Tractors Only
- 11 Classes ranging from 750# to 1200#
- 1:00 pm – Ag Olympics (Large Arena) – all kids 19 yrs and under are invited to participate; games, fun & prizes
- 4:00 pm – Bump N Run Off Road Derby, followed by Demolition Derby (7:00 pm) (Grandstand, Adults $20.00, Children 12 & under $10.00, covers both events, tickets go on sale at 2:00 pm)
- Small Mod fwd, Small Stock fwd, Small Stock Youth fwd, Small Stock Powder Puff, Powerwheels ($40 entry car & driver; $20 pit passes all ages)
