  • 6:00 PM – Draft Horse Halter & Showmanship Classes (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:00 PM – Oceana Has Talent Music Contest (FREE GRANDSTAND)

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24

SENIOR CITIZEN DAY – Over 60 admitted for $1.00 until 6:00 PM

Midway opens at 2:00 PM
Special – $10.00 armband will let you ride from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. An Additional $12.00 armband will let you ride from 6:00 PM until closing.
*Individual ride tickets will be available.

  • 8:00 AM – Swine Showmanship, Breeds & 4-H Market Classes (SMALL INDOOR ARENA)
  • 8:30 AM – Beef Showmanship, Breeds & 4-H Market Classes (LARGE ARENA)
  • 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM – 4-H Building Judging, All entered exhibits in 4-H Youth Building (4-H BUILDING – building will be closed until 3pm during judging)
  • 1:00 PM – Harness Horse Racing (FREE GRANDSTAND)
  • 1:00 PM – Saddle Horse Showmanship & Halter Classes (LARGE ARENA)
  • 4:00 PM – Sheep Showmanship, breeds & 4-H Market Classes (SMALL INDOOR ARENA)
  • 6:15 PM – Mini Horse Driving Classes
  • 6:30 PM – Draft Horse Driving Classes (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:00 PM – Farm Workers Appreciation Night (FREE GRANDSTAND)

THURSDAY, AUGUST 25

Midway opens at 2:00 PM

*Individual ride tickets will be available 8am-7pm.

  • 11:30 AM-1:00 PM – Accommodations for those with disabilities will be provided during this time, including free gate and free rides.
  • 9:00 AM – Dairy Cattle Judging, 4-H & Open (LARGE ARENA)
  • 9:00 AM – Goat 4-H & Open Showmanship, Breeds & 4-H Market Classes (SMALL INDOOR ARENA)
  • 1:00 PM – English Performance Classes, 4-H & Open (LARGE ARENA)
  • 1:00 PM – Rabbit 4-H & Open Showmanship, Breeds & 4-H Market Classes (RABBIT & POULTRY BARN)
  • 6:45 PM – Presentation of Oceana 4-H Ambassadors (FREE GRANDSTAND)
  • 7:00 PM – 4-H Market Livestock Auction (FREE GRANDSTAND)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 26

YOUTH DAY – Ages 12 & Under admitted free until 6:00 PM.

Special – $8.00 armband will let you ride from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM. An Additional $14.00 armband will let you ride from 6:00 PM until closing.

  • 9:00 AM – Western Riding Classes 4-H & Open (INFIELD ARENA)
  • 9:00 AM – Poultry 4-H & Open Showmanship, Breeds & 4-H Market Classes (RABBIT & POULTRY BARN)
  • 12:00-4:00PM – Horse Trail Class (near INFIELD ARENA)
  • 1:00 PM – Commodity Carnival (north side of LARGE ARENA)
  • 2:00 PM – Heavyweight Horse Pulling (FREE GRANDSTAND)
  • 4:00 PM – Cow Trail Classes/ Costume Class (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:00 PM – Tractor Pull – local farm tractors (GRANDSTAND ADMISSION; opens at 6:00pm)
  • 6:45 PM – Parade of Horse Breeds (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:00 PM – Horse Costume Class (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:15 PM – Miniature Horse Obstacle Class (LARGE ARENA)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 27

FINAL DAY OF FAIR

Midway opens at 2:00 PM
Special – $10.00 armband will let you ride from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. An Additional $14.00 armband will let you ride from 6:00 PM until closing.
*Individual ride tickets will be available.

  • 10:00 AM – Grand Slam Showmanship (RABBIT & POULTRY BARN, LARGE ARENA)
    Starting with smaller animals, working to larger animals in large arena
  • 10:00 AM – Horse Games (INFIELD ARENA)
  • 12:00 PM – Garden Tractor Pull (FREE GRANDSTAND)
  • 1:00 PM – Ag Olympics (LARGE ARENA)
    All kids 19 years and under are invited to participate. Games, fun, and prizes.
  • 5:00 PM – 4-H Small Market Animal Auction (LARGE ARENA)
  • 7:00 PM-7:45 PM – Ruthie & Friends (music)
  • 8:00 PM – “Auto Cross” and “Car & Truck” Demolition Derby (GRANDSTAND ADMISSION) ~Ticket Sales begin at 6:00 PM.
